On Friday, August 19, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office recognized the achievements of law enforcement agencies statewide during its 18th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge.
The Bolivar Police Department placed first in the 11-25 officer category and took first place honors in the Regional Award challenge. The regional award compares departments from neighboring states.
"We are extremely proud of our men and women at the Bolivar Police Department. They serve our community with honor, integrity, and pride. We appreciate their commitment to the residents of Bolivar and congratulate them on these awards," said Mayor McTizic.
