Bolivar Utility Department to Transition to Drive-Through Service

As you are all aware, COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) has become a concern for our country, our state, and Hardeman County. The safety, health, and well-being of our customers and employees is our primary concern. As such, the Bolivar Utility Department is taking precautionary measures to protect our customers and staff.


The Bolivar Utility Department will close on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 3:30 PM, to thoroughly clean and sanitize our entire building.


Effective, Monday, March 23, 2020, the department will implement the following changes:

  • The Bolivar Utility Department will be closed to walk-in traffic.

  • Our drive-through window will remain open during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

  • All service transactions, including new service or changes to current service will be processed through the drive-through window only.

The Bolivar Utility Department offers convenient payment options for our customers.

  • New bank draft requests will be processed at the drive-through window.

  • IVR Payments: (855) 748-8526

  • Links to our online bill payment service is available through our website at www.bolivarutility.com or via the city website at www.cityofbolivar.com.


Bolivar Utility Department staff are still working to ensure that the needs of our community are met. Our staff will continue to process service requests and respond to emergency calls.
