Mayor McTizic announced today that the plans for Bolivar's newest attraction, Sand Beach Lake, will be unveiled on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 6:00 PM, on the grounds of the new park.
Sand Beach Lake will become Bolivar's premiere attraction when completed. The park features 122 acres along Spring Creek near the Hatchie River and 1/2 mile from downtown.
The public is cordially invited to attend "the big reveal" on May 23, 2019, which will be hosted by the Bolivar City Council and city employees. Food and soft drinks will be available at the celebration. Admission to the event is FREE.
