"After months of speculation, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome Jack’s Restaurant to the City of Bolivar," said Mayor Julian McTizic. Mayor McTizic made the evening announcement on February 8, 2023, on his Facebook page.
Jack’s opened their first grill in Homewood, Alabama in 1960. They believe that while things have changed throughout time, one constant remains the same: good food and good people make a great time. We couldn’t agree more! They will fit right in here with our great people!
Construction on the new restaurant should begin soon. It will be located on West Market Street behind Vaughan Oil and will have entrances on both West Market Street and Tennessee Street.
McTizic added, "We are excited that Jack's has chosen Bolivar as the home to their newest restaurant and look forward supporting those new venture."
